Employees Numbers In Romania Highest Since 2009, Labor Market Still Far From Pre-Crisis “Normality”

The number of employees in the Romanian economy reached 4.44 million in late July, the highest level registered since October 2009. However, the local labor market still needs to regain another 300,000-400,000 jobs to hit the average number posted in 2008, according to National Statistics Institute data.
