France is the fourth largest investor in Romania, with EUR5.2 billion worth of investments. It is also Romania’s fourth largest trade partner, with commercial exchanges going constantly up and topping six billion euros last year. It holds key positions in Romania’s economy - in banks, car industry, telecom or retail.
