From Lohn To Automotive: 40% Of Romania’s 100 Largest Exporters Are Carmakers

“Romania’s strategy for 2014-2020 mentions for the first time the need to fund Romanian exporting enterprises. It is important for us to no longer believe in the myth saying SMEs are the backbone of the economy. Middle-sized enterprises, with 250-300 employees, able to face external challenges, need to be created and supported. Romanian exporting companies are necessary,” states professor Cezar Mereuta, an associate researcher with the Institute for Economic Forecasting part of the Romanian Academy.
