Weekly Export Risk Outlook, December 10

12.12.2014 ZF English

Greece is facing uncertainty again, and the market response was strongly negative, Euler Hermes noted in this week's Export Risk Outlook report.

The Greek government announced early presidential elections. If a president is not elected by the end of December, the government will be disolved and early parliamentary elections will be held. However, the government seems confident of winning the required majority for its presidential candidate, Euler Hermes analysts wrote in this week's report.

In Turkey, mixed signals from the gross domestic product, whose growth decelerated in the third quarter, but the lower global oil prices and a more stable exchange rate of the lira should support economic growth in the coming period.
