World Bank Sees Romania's Economic Growth at 5.1% in 2018, Deficit at 3.3%

Romania's economy is projected to continue to grow above potential in 2018 with GDP likely to expand by around 5.1%, driven by the fiscal stimulus, but in the absence of corrective measures, the fiscal deficit is projected to reach 3.3%, the World Bank said in a study released Tuesday.
