AXA Books EUR26M Loss On Sale Of Romanian Operations

French-held insurer AXA, which decided to pull out from Romania at the end of last year, booked a EUR26 million loss on the sale of its local life insurance operations, its annual report reveals. It took an even higher loss, EUR50 million, on the sale of its Hungarian subsidiary.
