The managing board of Banca Carpatica (BCC.RO), headed by Belgian-born Johan Gabriels, maintains the bank needs a solid basis of own funds and that the possible acquisition of banking assets or loan portfolios or even a merger with another domestic bank would bring it significant pluses and make it more competitive.
