BCR Posts EUR135.7M Profit In 1H After Provision Cost Cut

Romania’s largest lender BCR, a unit of Austria’s Erste Group Bank (EBS.RO), posted a net profit of RON603.4 million (EUR135.7 million) in the first half of the year, from a loss of RON276 million in the same period the year before.
