BNR: Bank Payment Refusals Reach Nine-Year Low

Romanian lenders refused to pay promissory notes, checks and notes of exchange worth 234 million lei (EUR53 million) in June 2016, which is lower by more than 50% compared with May, according to data provided by Romania central bank (BNR).
