Central Bank Official: Labor Productivity Stayed At 50% Of EU Average After 2008, Slows Down Convergence

Romania registers a "not so favorable" labour productivity which stayed at 50% of the European average after 2008, pointing to a slowdown in the convergence process towards developed countries, central bank deputy governor Florin Georgescu said Tuesday.
