Competition Council Clears Takeover Of NPL Bundle From Alpha Bank By Consortium Of Investors

Romania’s Competition Council has approved the transaction whereby the consortium of international investors formed of Deutsche Bank, the fund AnaCap Financial Partners and APS Holding had acquired, in early 2018, a bundle of non-performing loans (NPLs) worth EUR360 million from Alpha Bank,the largest Greek-held bank on the Romanian market.
