Croitoru, BNR: Raising Public Wages To Boost Consumption

Raising Romanian public sector wages, directly or by reducing social security contributions, will prove beneficial, as it will support consumption, but only if the Government finds financial resources for such a move, Lucian Croitoru, adviser to the central bank governor, said Wednesday.
