Deposits Guaranteed By Bank Deposit Guarantee Fund Reached RON159.2B End-March

The total value of bank deposits guaranteed by the Bank Deposit Guarantee Fund (FGDB) stood at 159.2 billion lei (EUR35.6 billion) at the end of March 2014, which translates into a 1.4% quarterly decline, of which private individuals held RON122.7 billion, up 3.3% from end-March 2013.
