EBRD Buys Electrica Stock Worth EUR75M To Become 2nd Largest Shareholder

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has become the second-largest shareholder in Romanian state-run energy company Electrica SA after it purchased EUR75 million worth of shares at the company’s initial public offering ended June 25, Energy Minister Razvan Nicolescu said Friday.
