Erste Group Posts EUR333M Net Profit In 1Q/2018, Best Result In Its History

Austria’s Erste Group, the majority shareholder of Romanian lender Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) and one of the largest banks in Central and Eastern Europe, on Friday said it registered a EUR333 million net profit attributable to owners of the parent company in the first quarter of 2018, up 26% from EUR262.2 million in the same period in 2017.
