Erste Says BCR Will Have Money For Loans Regardless Of Rating

The parent banks of three of the largest Romanian lenders, BCR, Raiffeisen and UniCredit Tiriac Bank, had their ratings downgraded by Moody’s on Wednesday, because their exposure to the region is deemed too risky. Erste Group, however, says that its subsidiary, BCR, will have all the support it needs to continue lending.
