Foreign Insurers Contributed EUR120M To The Capital Of Romanian Subsidiaries This Year

Insurance companies held by foreign groups received capital injections of EUR117 million since the beginning of this year, according to aggregate data from the Trade Registry. The bulk of the money is meant to cover losses recorded in the past few years by the insurance sector and in few cases foreigners come up with money in order to support growth plans on the local market.
