Governor: Romania's Banking System Has Liquidity, But Some Lenders Borrow From Central Bank

Romania’s banking system has enough liquidity but unevenly distributed, so that some lenders cannot access it and prefer to borrow from the central bank at weekly repo auctions, central bank governor Mugur Isarescu told a news briefing Tuesday.
