Greek Banks Invested Over EUR1B In Romanian Real Estate

The Greek banks on the local market--Bancpost, Alpha, Piraeus and Banca Romaneasca--have fed at least EUR1 billion into some of the most important real state projects carried out in Romania over the last five years. The Greek banks along with UniCredit are the largest lenders on the real estate market.
