IMF Sees Flat Or Negative Credit Growth In Romania, Other CEE Countries

Euro area banks are targeting lower loan-to-deposit ratios and less cross-border funding in Central and Eastern Europe, leading to flat or negative near-term credit growth in the region, particularly in Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania, according to estimates from the International Monetary Fund.
