ING Bank Romania Pretax Profit Up 8% In 1H

Romanian lender ING Bank registered pretax profit of 65 million lei (EUR15 million) in the first six months of 2011, according to IFRS, up 8% compared to the same period of 2010, on lower provision spending, especially on the corporate segment, and higher revenues from retail operations.
