ING: Romania Bank Liquidity Shortage Widened In December

The liquidity gap in the Romanian banking system has widened significantly in December, with lenders borrowing on average 4.1 billion lei (EUR0.94 billion) a day from the central bank, well above RON1.7 billion a day in the previous month, a report from ING Bank showed Tuesday.
