Major Foreign Banks Still At 97% Of Their March 2009 Romanian Exposure Level

The nine largest foreign banking groups that undertook to maintain support for their subsidiaries in Romania as part of the “Vienna initiative” in May 2009 are now at 97% of their aggregate exposure reference level of March 2009, says the International Monetary Fund in its first review of the precautionary stand-by arrangement with Romania.
