Romania Sells RON207M In 5-Year Bonds, At 2.6% Average Yield

Romania’s Finance Ministry sold just half of the planned amount at a five-year bond auction Thursday, as the average yield spiked, amid worsening sentiment on foreign markets and after the surprising rate cut announced last week by the central bank.
