05.25.2015 By Bogdan Neagu

Romania’s Finance Ministry Monday sold a planned 400 million lei (EUR90 million) in 6-month treasury bills, at an annual average yield of 1.26%.

Book orders amounted to RON980.6 million, but the ministry sold only the targeted amount, central bank data showed. The maximum accepted yield was 1.28%.

The yield was lower than 1.47% at an auction in December, when the ministry last sold six-month paper.

So far in 2015, the ministry raised RON16.2 billion at bond auctions on local market.
