Romania Sets Up Intervention Funds For Banking Sector And Investment Firms

The Romanian Government has approved the setting up of a bank resolution fund, based on the model of the bank restructuring fund, with contributions from the financial sector, whose resources are to reach 1% of the volume of banks’ covered deposits, by December 2024.
