Romanian Banking System Posts RON6.4B Profit In 2019

The banking system posted about RON6.4 billion lei net profit in 2019, 7.2% lower than in 2018 and assets rose to a new peak, RON495.3 billion, as lending increased by 7.6% on average, according to Romania’s central bank preliminary data.
