Romanians Withdrew EUR24B From ATMs Last Year, Six Times More Than They Paid By Card To Retailers

Romanians withdrew more than 106 billion lei (EUR24 billion) from cash dispensers last year, six times more than POS payments, according to data from central bank BNR. Card payments totaled RON24 billion (equivalent to EUR4 billion).
