van Groningen: Romania Should Have No More Than Four Universal Banks

The banking system in Romania will undoubtedly consolidate further because it becomes highly costly to keep a universal bank running and the local market is not able to support more than four universal banks in the long run, Raiffeisen Bank Romania president Steven van Groningen said Thursday.
