Bankers are awaiting the return of economic growth before genuinely restarting lending, but they admit there are good some businesses worth more attention, even at this time, when there are no signals that the economic situation will improve ‘overnight’. This was the conclusion of debates on the performance of the banking system in the first day of the ZF Bankers Summit ’13 conference.
