Bucharest Stocks Close Up, Banca Transilvania, BRD, Romgaz Boost Traded Value

The Bucharest stock market closed higher Friday, amid traded value worth RON25.37 million (EUR5.71 million), while investors focused on trades with Banca Transilvania (TLV.RO), BRD- Groupe Societe Generale (BRD.RO), and Romgaz (SNG.RO).

The Bucharest bourse’s main index BET was up 64.28 points, or 0.87%, at 7.488,24, while BET Plus closed up 0.89%, or 9.76 points to 1.101,66. Total return index BET-TR was up 0.87%, at 8.176,14.

BET-FI, which tracks Fondul Proprietatea and the five regional investment funds SIFs, closed down 0.32% at 30.923,94.

Bucharest benchmark index BET-BK finished the session at 1.389,67, up 0.6% on the day, while energy stocks tracker BET-NG closed up 0.96% at 703.78.

The wider BET-XT closed up 0.76% at 676.23. (EUR1=RON4.4395)
