Romanian Leu Hits Five-Year Low, Of 4.5872 Vs Euro, Amid Political Tension

The Romanian leu depreciated against the euro by midday Thursday and the central bank set the leu’s reference rate versus the euro at 4.5872 units, the lowest level since July 2012, amid political tension triggered by the resignation of the Cabinet run by Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu.
