Compa Sibiu Sees 2011 Net Profit Rising 17.5% To RON11.2M

Romanian car parts maker Compa Sibiu (CMP.RO) expects a 17.5% increase in net profit to 11.2 million lei (EUR2.7 million) in 2011, on higher sales, the company said in a statement Thursday.

Compa Sibiu estimates total sales will rise 15% to RON475 million, from RON413 million a year earlier.

In 2010, the company posted net profit of RON9.5 million.

Total revenues are expected to increase 13.5% on the year to RON490 million in 2011, while overall costs are seen up 13% to RON473 million.

Compa has a share capital of RON21.8 million, divided into 218.8 million shares. According to the latest reports, the employees association controls 54.6% in the company.

On the Bucharest bourse Tuesday, Compa closed down 2.36% to RON0.537 a share. (EUR1=RON4.0767)
