Ford To Hire 500 Workers At Craiova

US automaker Ford, which in March 2008 took over the Craiova-based car manufacturing plant, has decided to hire 500, which would raise the number of employees to 4,000. This is the first step taken by the US giant with a view to boosting the number of employees at its Romanian plant towards the 7,000 pledged in the privatization contract.
