Romanian Highways Cost EUR3M - EUR23M/Km, Bulgarian Highways Cost EUR2M/Km

The most expensive highway section built in Romania in the past few years is Gilau-Campia Turzii-Turda, with an average cost per km of around EUR23 million, shows a ZF analysis based on data from the Highways and National Roads Company in Romania (CNADNR). On the other hand, the cheapest highway built in Romania is Timisoara-Arad, where cost per kilometer is around EUR3.5 million.
