Romanian realty developer Catalan Electric plans to invest 46.3 million lei (EUR1=RON4.1084) in a 9 MW wind farm project that will be partly financed from European funds, according to a company announcement.

The unit will be located in northeastern Romanian county Iasi, and the company has already applied for European funding of the project.

Catalan Electric is entirely owned by Spanish Eolnumancia.
