Chevron Suspends Shale Gas Activity In Romania Again

U.S. energy giant Chevron has once again delayed plans to drill for shale gas at its field in Silistea-Pungesti, in the eastern county of Vaslui, in response to protests organized Saturday morning against fracking, a controversial process used to extract gas and oil from shale deposits.
