E.ON Gaz Distributie Outsources Household Index Reading In RON18M Deal

05.10.2011 By Andrei Circhelan

Romanian gas distributor E.ON Gaz Distributie concluded a three-year contract worth 18 million lei (EUR4.3 million) with Adrem Invest Bucuresti, for household index reading services in nine central Romania counties, Adrem Invest vice-president Corneliu Bodea said Tuesday.

"We have signed the contract with E.ON over a three-year interval, starting May 1, with a value of RON6 million per year," Bodea told a news conference.

Under the contract, Adrem will take over 102 of E.ON's employees and it will read the gas index for 800,000 clients.

Adrem Invest posted sales of RON74.6 million last year, up 70% on 2009, mostly due to the signing in November 2009 of an index reading contract with Czech CEZ.

The company is owned by Adrian Bodea (45%), Corneliu Bodea (45%) and Andreia Mihaela Beatrice Bodea (10%). (EUR1=RON4.0885)
