EBRD: Romania’s Power Grid Can Absorb Only 2,000 MW In Wind Energy

Romania’s national power grid can absorb at most 2,000 MW from wind farms, half of the estimations put forth by system operator Transelectrica (TEL.RO), a senior banker with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said Tuesday.
