Electrica Posts RON109M Profit in 1H, Offsetting 1Q Loss

Romanian state-owned energy utility group Electrica (EL.RO) on Wednesday reported a consolidated net profit of RON109 million for the first half of the year, down 48%, after a RON41 million loss in the first quarter and a net profit of RON150 million in the second quarter.
