Romania’s electricity market is marred by imbalances between demand and supply, therefore, one should pay attention to players in the field to avoid situations like the one in early 2017 when the energy price on Romania’s OPCOM energy exchange simply surged, according to Francesco Starace, CEO and general manager of Italian utility group Enel.
