Government Cancels EUR51M Risk Coverage Guarantee For Enel-Electrica Deals

The Romanian government has decided to cancel a EUR51 million risk coverage guarantee in favor of Italian utility Enel for the privatization of two Electrica branches and wire the funds to the state budget, according to this summer’s draft budget revision.
