Romanian company Hidro Este plans to invest 65.9 million lei (EUR1=RON4.1084) in several micro-hydropower plants in the southern Romanian county Valcea, according to a company announcement.

Some of the funds would come from European funds, the company said.

Hidro Este is owned by four Spanish citizens, trade registry data showed.
