Holrom Renewable Energy To Launch 17-MW Wind Farm In May

Holrom Renewable Energy on Wednesday said it will complete this month a EUR21 million wind farm in Baia, in the Romanian southeastern county Tulcea.

"We are expecting the final approvals to start supplying electricity," company general manager Andrei Danga told a news conference.

The project has an installed capacity of 17 MW, and it is partly financed by leasing firm UniCredit Leasing, which covers EUR11 million.

The plant will have an annual output of 59.000 MWh, which ensures the consumption of around 14,000 households.

The company official added Holrom Renewable Energy plans to develop another 12 projects, with a total installed power of 120 MW.

Holrom Renewable Energy is 85% owned by Cyprus-registered RG Renovatio Group Limited, while Eevelthisis Holdings Limited holds the remaining 15%.
