Lukoil Romania To Sell Electricity For $17.6M In 2011

Lukoil Energy & Gas Romania, the energy division of Russian-owned Lukoil Romania, expects revenue of $17.6 million this year from selling the electricity it produces at a power plant located at its Petrotel-Ploiesti refinery.

Lukoil Energy & Gas Romania, the energy division of Russian-owned Lukoil Romania, expects revenue of $17.6 million this year from selling the electricity it produces at a power plant located at its Petrotel-Ploiesti refinery.

The power plant is located within the refinery, and it should be complete by June. The unit is expected to produce 304,000 MWh of electricity and 757,000 gigacalories of thermal power this year.

The company's electricity needs reach 60,000 MWh, which leaves 244,000 MWh available for sale.

Aside from the Petrotel refinery, Lukoil Romania owns a gas station network of 300 units nationwide.
