Miners At Romania’s Sole Uranium Mine End Protests, Will Resume Work Monday

The 300 miners at the Crucea uranium mine in northeastern Romania, who barricaded themselves underground Thursday morning demanding higher wages, decided Friday to end protests, after promises from the Economy Ministry that their demands would be analyzed soon.
