Romania’s Energy Exports Hit 8-Year High

The first six months of 2014 brought a record in terms of Romania’s energy exports, with domestic producers sending over 3 terawatt hours of electricity abroad, the highest level since 2007, the last year for which energy watchdog ANRE published data. However, domestic consumption hit an 8-year low.
