Farmers To Agriculture Ministry: Tie Subsidies To Productivity If You Want To See Development

Productivity of the farm should be the main criterion used when allocating subsidies, says Claudiu Davitoiu, owner of Agroindaf Afumati cattle farm, who asks Romania’s agriculture support agency APIA to not turn subsidies into welfare and check the yields of the farmers, so higher productivity could get more funds.
