Headhunters: It's Normal For Expat Managers' Terms To Be Short

Thierry Millet, CEO of Orange’s Romanian subsidiary since July 2009, will take over a new position within France Telecom when his two-year term expires. Liliana Solomon, who was CEO of Vodafone’s local subsidiary for five years, was promoted at the end of last year within the group and moved to the London headquarters. Several other members of the top management teams of the two companies were replaced in the last year, after terms of two, three or four years.
