Japan’s Nidec Buys Emerson’s Operations In Oradea

The Emerson group, which has plants in Cluj-Napoca and Oradea and more than 2,400 employees in Romania, sold the Leroy-Somer and Control Tehniques divisions to Japan’s Nidec Corporation in a $1.2 billion deal, which includes part of its local operations.
